Asbestos Management

Regulation 4 of the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 places a duty on the owners on non-domestic buildings to manage Asbestos in their premises.

Asbestos Surveys

Our P402 qualified surveyors carry out UKAS accredited surveys for our clients in accordance with MDHS100. Asbestos surveys are required to identify asbestos material for management under CAR2006 (Type 1 or Type 2) and further intrusive Type 3 surveys are required before demolition or major refurbishment work can start. Asbestos Analysis

Our UKAS accredited, P401 qualified lab analysts use polarised light microscopes to compare the properties of various materials, allowing us to conclusively identify asbestos content in materials. Asbestos Training

The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 require employers to provide training for staff who may disturb asbestos materials during their work. This "Asbestos Awareness" training teaches staff about health risks and uses of asbestos and how to work safely around asbestos materials. Asbestos Abatement

Air Monitoring

MIS analysts can measure the concentration of airborne asbestos after asbestos is disturbed, removed or discovered in a poor state. 4-stage clearance tests are required by law for issuing a Certificate of Re-occupation after asbestos is removed by a licensed contractor.
